SERVER BROWSER

Choose from four UK/EU-friendly Rust servers: 2x Solo/Duo, 2x Solo/Duo/Trio, 3x Solo/Duo and 3x Solo/Duo/Trio. Group limits are enforced and admin support runs through Discord. All four servers have raidable NPC bases; everything else is close to standard Rust. Each one wipes every 4 days at 15:00 UK time, staggered so there is nearly always a fresh map.

WIPE SCHEDULE

Every server wipes every 4 days at 15:00 UK time. The four are staggered a day apart, so on almost any day of the month one of them has just gone fresh.

On the first Thursday of each month all four wipe together for Rust's forced wipe, and each server's 4-day cycle is anchored from there:

  • //Grub.Army EU 2x Solo/Duo — anchored to the Friday after the forced wipe, then every 4 days.
  • //Grub.Army EU 2x Solo/Duo/Trio — anchored to the Saturday after the forced wipe, then every 4 days.
  • //Grub.Army EU 3x Solo/Duo — anchored to the Sunday after the forced wipe, then every 4 days.
  • //Grub.Army EU 3x Solo/Duo/Trio — anchored to the Monday after the forced wipe, then every 4 days.

A server skips its turn when it lands the day before or the day after a forced Thursday, rather than wiping twice inside two days — so you never get a one-day wipe. That is why the server anchored to the Friday opens its month on the Tuesday.

4 days does not divide into a week, so each server's wipe day moves through the month; the cycle is the part that is fixed. Wipe announcements go out in Discord.

HOW TO CONNECT

1. STEAM DIRECT

Click CONNECT NOW — it uses the steam:// protocol to launch Rust and connect immediately.

2. F1 CONSOLE

Hit COPY CONNECT, launch Rust, press F1, paste and hit enter:connect [hostname:port]

3. SERVER BROWSER

Search Grub.Army in the Community or Modded tab in-game. Match your region filter.

FIND A DUO OR TRIO

Our Discord has a voice room for every group. On #instructions, hit Create private room and you get a channel of your own plus a friend code to pass to whoever you are playing with — nobody you did not invite can connect. Hit Create public room instead and anyone with the Rust role can see it and drop in, which is how most wipe-day trios come together. You do not need to be sitting in a voice channel first; if you are in the lobby the bot moves you across, and if you are not it hands you the room and a link anyway.

Group limits still apply in voice. A public room can hold more people than the server cap, but roaming, raiding or basing above the limit is actionable whether or not you were all talking to each other. Keep the duo, trio or clan in a private room and use the public one for trading and wipe chatter.

Full walkthrough, including how rooms close themselves and what to do when the Discord is quiet: find a duo or trio.

RAIDABLE BASES

Raidable bases are bases the server spawns around the map, with NPC defenders and loot inside. They are only there to be raided. You can't claim one or live in it, and you still build and farm your own base as normal. Raidable bases run on all four servers with the same settings. Everything else is close to standard Rust.

LEARNING TO RAID

Raidable bases are a good way to learn raiding without putting your own base at risk. You can practise working out which explosives you need for each door and wall, fighting NPCs inside a base, and getting the loot back to your own base. Start on Easy and move up the tiers as you get more experienced.

DIFFICULTY

All five tiers are enabled: Easy, Medium, Hard, Expert and Nightmare. Higher tiers have bigger bases and more NPC defenders with better gear. Easy can be done early in a wipe with basic gear. Nightmare needs a lot of explosives and meds.

LOOT

Loot is standard for each server's rates: 2x on the 2x servers and 3x on the 3x servers. There are no boosted loot tables.

OTHER PLAYERS

Raidable bases are PvP. Another player can walk in on your raid, fight you for it and take the loot; clearing the NPCs does not reserve it. A base under attack is loud, so expect company. It works the other way round too — a group that has spent its boom and meds on a Nightmare base is the best target on the map. Bring a teammate to watch the outside while you loot.

PLAYER BASES AND GROUP LIMITS

Raidable bases are in addition to normal raiding. Player bases can still be raided as usual, and the raiding rules apply as normal. The group limit and the alliance rule also apply inside raidable bases. Two groups can't team up on one if together they are over the server's limit, including to take a raid from another group.

PLAYING SOLO

You can do raidable bases on your own. Start on Easy. The higher tiers are harder alone and easier with a duo or trio. To find one, see find a duo or trio.

RUST FIELD MANUAL

Group limits are enforced hard. No griefing after a raid, no alliances that break the cap, no cheats. Read it before you build.
